Mary
Mary graduated from Valdosta State University with her bachelors in biology with an emphasis in vet med. She has loved animals her whole life, but has worked professionally with them for the past 7 years. Mary and her husband have two dogs: a 7 year old German Shepherd mix named Cara and a 3 year old Belgian Malinois named Nya.
Johana
Johana was born in Mexico and moved to Atlanta, Ga when she was 5 years old. She worked in the medical field for 5 years as a medical assistant/ front office assistant until she realized that her passion was working with Animals, she is also in the process of obtaining her grooming certificate. Johana has two pets an Australian Shepherd named Eevee and a black and white cat named Nikko. Johana has been married for 12 years and has a 5-year-old daughter who loves the outdoors so her family is always out walking in the trails or at the park with their dog.
Dr. Pamela Donnerstag
Rachel
Rachel was raised in Georgia, and has always had a passion for animals. She has worked in customer service for several years, and now combines that experience with her love for animals as a CSR at My Pet’s Vet. Rachel enjoys being a friendly and helpful face at the front desk, making sure both clients and pets feel welcome. She has a dog, a Cocker Spaniel-Poodle mix named Buddy. In her spare time Rachel enjoys creating art, working out, spending time with friends, and running a dog photography blog where she captures candid moments of pups at local parks.
Dr. Heather Dunkerton
Dr. Dunkerton was born and raised here in Powder Springs, GA. She is a 2025 graduate from Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine and earned her MBA from the Lincoln Memorial University School of Business during her time in vet school. She has enjoyed soft tissue surgery and seeing exotic pets since high school when she had the opportunity to shadow a local veterinarian. When not with patients, Dr. Dunkerton enjoys spending time with her own reptiles, two dogs, and her horse Shiney as well as reading, cross stitching, and cheering on the Atlanta Gladiators hocky team.
