FAQs About Your Pet’s Wellness Visit

This really depends on your pet’s age, health status, and lifestyle. For adult pets, we generally recommend a wellness check-up at least once a year to keep them in tip-top shape and up-to-date on their vaccinations. However, some pets may need more frequent visits.

Puppies and kittens need more frequent check-ups, usually every 3-4 weeks until they reach around 16 weeks old. These early visits are crucial for vaccinations, deworming, and monitoring their growth and development during this sensitive time.

We understand your time is valuable, so we aim to be efficient while providing the best possible care. Most wellness visits take between 30 and 45 minutes, but the exact time may vary depending on your pet’s individual needs.

If you’re new to our practice, please bring any existing medical records your pet may have, as well as any questions or concerns you’d like to discuss. For existing clients, we may request a stool sample, so please remember to bring that along. And of course, feel free to reach out to us with any questions you may have before your appointment.
