Dr. Jordan Connor

Dr. Jordan Connor is a recent graduate from the University of Illinois. Although born and raised in the Midwest Dr. Connor just recently made the move here to San Antonio, Texas to be closer to his identical twin brother. Dr. Connor works primarily with small animals with special interests in pathology, cardiology, and just recently over the last year anesthesiology. At home Dr. Connor lives with his 2 cats, Lenny and Norman, who he acquired just before starting his first year of vet school. In his free time, he likes to find new places to go hiking, shopping, and going to venues to listen to live music.

Dr. Suzie Jardine

Dr. Suzie Jardine is a retired Army Veterinarian who is board certified in Veterinary Preventive Medicine. After retirement, she built and operated her own veterinary practice until selling it in a few years ago. Since then, she has continued work in small animal medicine as it is her passion. She has 5 fur babies at home: 2 cats and 3 dogs that all love each other (most of the time). In her free time, she enjoys volunteering at church, spending time with family, skiing, and driving fast cars with her son Thomas. She also is the CEO of a small but growing nonprofit organization and continues to support small business owners.

Dr. Danette Schweers

Dr. Danette Schweers, in addition to general practice, has special interests in pain management, surgery, and emergency medicine. Born and raised in Boerne, Texas, she attended Texas A&M University Veterinary School. Afterward, Dr. Schweers served an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at California Animal Hospital in Los Angeles. The next several years were spent working in emergency care centers in California, before moving back to Texas. Here she continued emergency medicine, including opening up a new emergency room for animals. Dr. Schweers has earned the status of Diplomat of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, Canine and Feline Practice. Outside of work, she spends her time raising 3 wonderful kids and trying to keep up with their 90-year-old house. She continues to enjoy the Texas Hill Country whenever possible, usually with other hobbies like running and occasional hunting.

Sarah

Sarah has twelve years of experience as a veterinary technician, ten in small animal practice, and two in emergency medicine. Sarah graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with her Master’s Degree in Microbiology in 2018, and is currently training to become a certified Veterinary Practice Manager. Sarah and her husband Clint have two cats named Takoda and Renfri, and one dog named Harley.

Elisa

Elisa is a Licensed veterinary technician with 20 years of experience in the vet field. She is passionate about providing exceptional care and improving the quality of life of her patients. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and dog, NuttZ.

Blanca

Blanca has experience in volunteering with the Humane Society. She is looking forward to going back to school for Biology in the near future. In her spare time she loves to cuddle with her cat, Caesar along with her 2 family senior Maltese dogs, Black and Chiquilin.

Sara

Sara is from San Angelo, Texas and has always had a passion for animals and animal rescue. She even told her Kindergarten teacher she was going to grow up and work with animals one day! Sara loves visiting the ocean, working out at the gym, paddle boarding, kayaking, hiking, and any outdoor activity she can do with her 6 year old boxer J (aka “Booshka!”), her twin sister and her dog Bud. She is looking forward to continuing her education to further her career working with animals.

Victoria

Victoria is from Chicago IL and has experience with dogs, cats, reptiles, and freshwater aquariums. She has experience in dog training, pet retail, and most recently 5 years in veterinary clinic setting. She has 3 dogs, Maxine is a 15yr Pitt mix, Leela is a 9yr Huskey and Loki is a 6yr Huskey as well as a 75-gal Cichlid tank. Her hobbies include movies of all genres, cooking, baking, and taking care of other peoples animals as a dog walk/house sitter for special needs dogs and cats.

Gabby

Gabby has always had a passion for animals, and is currently attending school with the hopes of becoming a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in the future. In her spare time Gabby enjoys going to the gym, drawing, and playing with her Labrador Retriever mix, Dale.

Nina

Nina’s dream is to help all animals in need, from your cats and dogs to turtles and birds! Outside of work she enjoys playing video games, working on her car, and watching Anime.

Alonzo

Alonzo is 18 years old and is currently going to school to become a license vet tech. He has a 2 year old bully named Nova and a 1 year old ball python named Scarlett. Alonzo also enjoys to play soccer and go work out on his days off.

Isabel

Isabel is going to school to pursue animal science in the veterinary medicine field. Her career goal is to become a large animal veterinarian.

Matthew

Matthew was born and raised in San Antonio. He has always had a huge passion for animals and has had many growing up. He has 3 pets, they consist of 2 cats, Gohan and Chloe, and his bearded dragon, Zeus. His favorite hobbies are playing guitar, drawing, and watching horror movies. Matthew is currently in school and strives to one day be a doctor of veterinary medicine.

Lydia

Lydia is a San Antonio native who has always dreamed of helping and caring for animals. She earned her BS in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. She is a pet mother to a tuxedo cat named Pikachu, a Leopard Gecko named Kirishima, a Blue-tonged Skink named Gojira, a Veiled Chameleon named Lucy, and 2 parakeets named Sunny and Luna. Outside of work Lydia enjoys reading, cooking, drawing, digital-design, video games, anime, and cosplay.

Em

Born and raised and Texas, Emily grew up with pets. There was never a time she was without one. Now, while being a full-time student with a full-time job, there’s no way Emily would like to spend her time than being surrounded by four-legged friends that she could never be without.
