Leah
Vet Assistant

Leah was born in Moncks Corner, SC and spent her childhood watching her mom work hard to help as many animals as possible in the veterinary field and outside of it. This is where her love and passion for Vet Med and Animal Welfare blossomed.

She has been officially working in the Veterinary Field for 5 years and has worked her way up through every position from a Kennel Technician to CSR to her current Veterinary Assistant position.

She plans on getting licensed in this field in the very near future and plans on using her drive for knowledge to learn as much as possible in this field in order to help the ones who don’t have a voice to ask for it. She has a passion to spread awareness to pet owners about how important proper veterinary care is and the risks of not providing good care to the ones who provide so much love and loyalty for us.

Some fun facts about Leah are that she has two Golden Retrievers named Harbor and Copper that she never goes anywhere without. In her free time she loves spending her time on the boat fishing or trolling with some music, wandering Charleston, and spending all of her time outdoors. Lastly, her family has been breeding AKC Golden Retrievers in SC for the majority of her life!

Leah has a strong love and passion for all things ‘animal’ and plans on keeping that passion alive for years to come.
