Dr. Laramie Doyal is a veterinarian and clinical leader with a diverse background spanning mixed animal practice, emergency medicine, biomedical research, and hospital administration. Dr. Doyal earned his Master of Agriculture in Poultry Science from Texas A&M University in 2021 and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2022, and is continuing his education in integrative and multimodal approaches to patient care. He began his clinical career in mixed animal practice and later expanded his skill sets through relief and emergency small animal hospitals. Dr. Doyal’s leadership experience includes serving as Hospital Director and Clinical Veterinarian at a contract research organization, supporting a large Macaque production colony. He joins My Pet’s Vet from the Texas Biomedical Research Institute/Southwest National Primate Research Center where he provided veterinary oversight for non-human primates involved in critical biomedical research.
Dr. Doyal was born and raised in Converse, Texas, and is proud to call the San Antonio area home. He is married to Morgan, a practicing emergency veterinarian, and together they are enjoying life with their first daughter, Sawyer. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Doyal is an avid team roper and regularly competes in BBQ competitions, as well as spending time golfing, hunting, and fishing. Dr. Doyal returned to the San Antonio area in 2025, he is excited to invest in the local community and share his experience in a meaningful and positive way.
As Chief of Staff at My Pet’s Vet, Dr. Doyal brings a unique combination of clinical versatility, operational leadership, and people-focused management. His broad experience across private practice, emergency medicine, research settings, and hospital administration allows him to support medical excellence, mentor veterinary teams, and help foster a collaborative, sustainable, and high-performing practice culture.
